Chinese electronics company Haier's India arm on Monday launched a new HD 43-inch smart LED TV at a price of Rs.49,990 running on the Android platform.

The TV comes equipped with wireless display (WiDi) technology, which enables users to stream music, movies, photos, videos and apps from mobile to TV seamlessly.

"With smart and innovative features, Haier's new 43-inch Android LED TV defines the modern home entertainment effortlessly," Eric Braganza, President, Haier India, said.

"The new range of televisions from Haier represents company's endeavour to continuously innovate and introduce new cutting edge technologies offering convenience to the consumers in the Indian market," he added.

The TV, which is being offered with two years of extended warranty, also comes with a built-in camera that supports Skype calling.
