HYDERABAD, India: Business Today-Yes Bank presented the 5th Edition of SME awards in New Delhi on August 26th, 2014. iConcept Software Services Pvt. Ltd. was presented with the Star SME Award - Overall (Turnover up to Rs. 50 Crore) and Start SME-Agri (Turnover up to Rs. 50 Crore).
The BT - YES BANK SME Survey & Award recognizes growth-focused, innovative SMEs and the objective of this initiative is to bring together, recognize and reward achievers, innovators and enablers to encourage an entrepreneurial spirit.
Mr. Ajay Kumar, CEO, Founder and Mr. Gangadhar represented iConcept at the award ceremony. After receiving the awards, Mr. Ajay Kumar quoted, "We have grown from four people operating out of a small business centre to a team of 150, operating out of two offices in Hyderabad. We have less than 10 per cent attrition."
The company, Mr. Ajay says, is very agile in adapting to local requirements. "We can quickly change a framework and take to the market," he says.
Ajay adds on that the key differentiator for iConcept is that its products give deep business insights on those areas of supply chain that are not in direct transaction with a company. Therefore, help in deploying sales and marketing strategies in a more focused manner.
The awards were presented by Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon'ble Union Minister for Communications & Information Technology, Law & Justice in the presence of senior Government officials, and industry leaders.
