A four-day mega event 'Automation 2012', the country's only and largest expo on automation technologies, will open its door to automation enthusiasts from September 7-10 at NSE Complex in Mumbai.

Ex-Speaker, Loksabha, P. A. Sangama, will inaugurate the event on 7th September.

Speaking at a conference in Mumbai, the Managing Director of IED Communication, M. Arokiaswamy Monday said, "India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Infrastructure development is the key for the nation development and this in building technology will bring a definite change in the daily lives of population at large. India has the right mix of process industry that provides excellent growth opportunities for the entire spectrum of automation products and systems."

This event bills itself as "India's only Automation Show" of international standard.

'Automation 2012' will be the 7th international exhibition and conference organized by IED Communications Pvt. Ltd. This show is supported by esteemed organizations and trade associations such as Instrumentation Experts Club (IEC) Mumbai, Japan Electric Measuring Instruments Manufacturer's Association (JEMIMA), Instrumentation & Control Society of Malaysia (ICSM), AMA-Germany, ISA-USA and powerful team of Board of Governors.

Over 700 global companies from US, UK, Germany, China, Korea, Singapore, Italy, Switzerland and many other countries including India will display latest automation systems.

The show will present the latest technologies from an interesting array of fields such as: Factory Automation, Process Automation & Control Systems, Robotics & Drives, Field Instrumentation & Smart Sensors Bus Technologies, Software Solutions, Wireless Technology, Building Automation, and Hydraulic & Pneumatic Automation in Renewable Energy.

Over 50,000 footfalls of trade delegates, visitors, engineers as well as final year engineering students expected during the fair.

'Automation 2012' will bring together big names in Automation field like Siemens, Pepperl+Fuchs, Teknic, Wago, Wika, Ge Sensing, Delta, Bosch, Camozzi, Lapp, Phoenix Mecano, Phoenix Contact, etc. all under one roof.

'Automation 2012' will tender an apt platform to interact with the stalwarts of automation; the festival would be an attempt to encourage the growth of technology in India.

A three day conference will be held at the same venue with an impressive line-up of topics to interest any tech buff. The conference will aim at bringing together researchers and practitioners from the industry and academia; providing them with a stage to report on recent developments, as well as actual and potential applications to industrial and factory automation. Field Bus, Profibus Association and Industrial Automation will be organizing 3 day conference.

National and International speakers will make presentation on latest Automation Technologies. Over 300 delegates - decision makers of all Industry across the country will attend the conferences.

On the eve of 9th September 2012, Grand Award Night will take place.
