Exporters body FIEO said that suspension of trade relations with India will hit Pakistan more while India will be
hardly affected.
"The suspension of trade relations will hit Pakistan more badly as
India is less dependent on Pakistan while latter is more," FIEO President Sharad
Kumar Saraf said.
India's goods exported to Pakistan has limited profile as Pakistan has not
given MFN status to India and such goods have ready market in South Asia and Middle
East" he added.
Pakistan scaled down its diplomatic and economic relations with India recently
over India’s revoking the constitutional article 370 that had for decades
afforded the Jammu and Kashmir substantial autonomy over its own affairs.
