The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has launched a Helpline that would help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) conduct their businesses under the new tax regime of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Any MSME can dial the Helpline number (1800111955) to get the entire information about the GST and the procedure for registration under it.

This Helpline is functional from eight in the morning till eight in the night, said NSIC.

NSIC set up with the objective of facilitating MSMEs, youth, entrepreneurs the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has launched a Helpline that would help them conduct their businesses under the new tax regime of Goods and Services Tax (GST), said a press release in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Dr, Arun Kumar Panda, Secretary MSME during his visit to National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) applauded the various Initiatives of NSIC for the growth of MSME sector in the country.

On an average, everyday more than 20 entrepreneurs and MSMEs are getting information on the GST as also various NSIC schemes for the growth and development of the MSME sector in the country.

Ravindra Nath, Chairman and Managing Director of NSIC, informed that NSIC has also started Awareness Campaigns in different areas of various states and industrial towns and cities for facilitating MSME with regard to the GST and all 165 offices of NSIC throughout the country are active.

In addition, NSIC has appointed Nodal Officers in each state for helping small enterprises, added release.
