Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday met a delegation of farmers from across the country over the land bill, said an official statement.

During the meeting, the delegation presented a memorandum to the minister covering various aspects and issues related to the land bill which had been arrived at after consulting more than 65 farmer organisations in the country.

Jaitley had earlier met another delegation of farmers on May 28 consisting of more than 30 farmers' organisations.
