The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) today opens the Third Source Zone Fair-2012 in Gurgaon to help and develop the entire value chain of textiles.

Dr. A. Sakthivel, Chairman, AEPC in his statement said, "AEPC brings Source Zone and India Market Days to Apparel House, South Asia's only permanent exhibition of high quality merchandise – ranging from mens' wear, womens' fashion and children wear and related accessories. Well-laid out showrooms display not just fashion apparel, but a range of rich and high-quality fabrics made in India, a vast array of accessories and everything else required to produce fashionable garments of excellent quality at a competitive prices".

AEPC is hosting the Fair to provide additional resources to its member exporters. It would be providing access to thousands of buyers of fabric, accessories and services and a one-to-one interaction with the large garment manufacturers and exporters, he added.

Sudhir Sekhri commented that, "AEPC is once again ready to provide an opportunity and a platform where products under the entire value chain of textiles, from fabrics, to trims/ embellishments to fashion accessories, all are brought under one roof."

"You may like to avail this opportunity to choose from the wide spectrum of products and services at one place. This Fair will help you develop your creative collection and augment your apparel accessory resources," he added.

After the success of the Second edition of the Source Zone Fair, the Third Source Zone Fair 2012, opens up at Apparel House Gurgaon on 5th November.

The target buyers for the show are: Fabric importers, Distributors and Wholesalers; Garment exporters and manufacturers; Buying houses and Buying agents; Local and international retail chains; Departmental stores; Apparel brands; Fashion designers and merchandisers; Design studios; Fashion Institutes, Trade body representatives and Trade media.

The show being for trade visitors only, will enable companies to interact and conduct business in a conducive environment. The exhibitors from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc have come to participate in  this Fair.

India's apparel industry (export & domestic) is approximately USD 30 billion and has over 50,000 apparel manufacturing units.

The exhibitor here can explore and tap global markets and trends. They can interact and trade with thousands of top buyers/ decision makers at one place, said AEPC in a press note.
