A ten-day long exhibition-cum-sale on handicraft items - titled "Just not Whites" will be inaugurated by Anand Sharma, Minister of Commerce & Industry and Textiles, on Wednesday.

Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. (CCIC) is organizing this exhibition-cum-sale in its showroom at Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, in New Delhi from March 21st to 31st, CCIC today informed.

The Handloom range includes newly designed & exclusive  Ready to wear for Men (Block printed kurta/Payjama sets & shirts, Chikankari Kurta / Pajama sets from Lucknow), Women (Chanderi Printed & Plain woven suits, Lucknow Chikankari suits & dupattas, sarees woven & printed Tussar & silk collection from Varanasi, Lucknow, Chanderi and West Bengal.

Dress Fabric, woven and printed cotton, silk from chanderi. Woven & printed cotton, Tussar & silk collection from Varanasi, Lucknow, Chanderi and West Bengal and Table Linen, Bed Spreads in heartwarming hues and shades of White.

The Handicraft range includes marble gold leaf painted and in laid products from Jaipur and Agra, Lamps and Gift Items, Ceramics table ware products, white inlaid furniture from Jodhpur and Hoshiarpur, Embroidered woven wall hangings and accessories, release said.

The above exhibition is mainly aimed at reviving traditional handloom and hand block printed fabrics and products are being got developed through National Awardees / State Awardees & artisans / weavers of Office of DC(Handicrafts) & DC(Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, it added.
