India, Pak will sign a MoU to boost bilateral trade

Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) and Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) would be signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for boosting trade & economic relations between the two countries.
The memorandum has identified frequent exchange of delegations, organizing exhibitions in each other country, exchange of trade information and providing trade facilitation to businessman in each other country, informed FIEO in statement on Wednesday.
Tariq Sayeed, Leader of the delegation, Former President of FPCCI and SAARC Chamber was optimistic that with the MFN status in progress the trade will increase more than 10 million USD. J.K Jain, Vice President, FIEO said that both the countries need immediate redressel for relaxation of business visa and also reducing non tariff barriers.
He also said that banking facilities between the two countries should improve so that businessman can take maximum advantage of this.
Ajay Sahai, Director General & CEO, FIEO, said that recent exchange of high level delegation visit of Commerce Secretary of Pakistan has opened up new avenues for trade promotion between the two countries.
He said that FIEO is planning to organize abuyer - seller meet in Karachi in association with FPCCI.
