Aeris India Set to Enhance Indian Social Sector

Aeris, apioneer, and leader in the Internet of Things (IoT) market, today announced the launch of an India based Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practice. This important action taken by Aeris aligns with its commitment to utilise IoT technologies to improve the lives of those most in need and to foster better utilization of the planet’s scarce resources.

 

The Aeris CSR initiative was launched at the Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi in the august presence of:

 

    Shri Awanish Awasthi, Joint Secretary, Department of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment,

    Shri C.K. Khaitan, Joint Secretary, and CEO National Trust, marking the support of the government and the presence of Aeris global leadership,

    Harry Plant, Vice President of Social Sector at Aeris and reiterates the company’s commitment towards India,

    Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar, President of Aeris India, and

    Representatives from several national and international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and social entrepreneurs.

 

Aeris collaborates with several non-profit organizations around the world andmakes available to them IoT connectivity service and tools to communicate and analyse data. Aeris is currently working with several social impact companies such as Nexleaf, SweetSense and other international NGOs.

 

Aeris will source or develop and then help its social sector customers implement a fully-operational, tested and optimized IoT solution, incorporating hardware devices, application-customized software and connectivity.
