Ricoh India Strengthens its Public Cloud Services Offering

Ricoh India Ltd., a market leader in Printing & Document solutions and IT services today announced the expansion of its existing data centre facility in Kolkatain order to strengthen its public cloud services offerings.

Ricoh India had set up the data centre in Kolkata in 2013 which was a flagship facility for providing Innovative Ricoh Cloud services to its customers. Currently the Kolkata data centre caters to more than 200+ domestic and international customers including Indian Government banks.

Ricoh runs its 24x7x365 Cloud Services operations from this facility, being managed and monitored round-the-clock by Data Centre professionals in a physically & virtually secured facility. It also provides Fully Managed Virtual Servers & Dedicated Servers, Backup & Disaster Recovery Solutions & Services, Managed email services, Colocation Services, Cloud Infrastructure to it public and private customers through its Cloud Data Centre services portfolio.

The ISO 27001 : 2013 certified Data centre has now been augmented into a Tier-3 facility.The data centre acts as the primary hub for Information Security and complement the existing Data Centre of Ricoh India at its Head Office in New Delhi.

He also added, “We see a huge potential in this part of the country especially with strong initiatives by the state government to encourage development of industry and generation of employment opportunities for this region. We feel that this is the right time for us to invest here and expand state of the art facilities like this one."
