Indian Food tech start-up - âFrshlyâ has launched its service offerings at the Bengaluru Central Railway Station and Chennai International Airport. Frshly is a first-of-its-kind automated retail marketplace that sells fresh and hot food from popular restaurant brands in the city for people who are on the move.
Currently offering 6 different cuisines with 30 combos, the brand promises unprecedented service quality, convenience and variety to its customers through its state-of-the-art dispensing machines. The brand is currently present across 3 cities - Bengaluru, Chennai and Secundrabad.
âFrshlyâ serves piping hot food from popular restaurants across the city including Tadka Singh, Currylicious, Delhi Highway, Anjappar and Nandhana Palace in Bengaluru. While in Chennai food is available from - âAnjappar, Kumarakomâ, âDelhi Highwayâ, âArab Streetâ, âMadrasi Biryaniâ and Eco Kitchen. Consumers have a wide range to choose from multiple restaurants at every Frshly outlet. Consumers can download the Frshly app from Apple and Google play stores to pick locations, order and pay for their food on the go. The available food options have been priced between - INR 79 - INR 160.

Frshly is the brain child of Satish ChamyVelumani,a first generation entrepreneur and the man behind Frshly - a fully automated, multi-brand, food-retailer based out of Chennai. He holds an MBA degree in Global Enterprise Management from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Hartford, Connecticut, USA. Apart from being an MBA graduate he is also an MS in Manufacturing Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey, USA and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore.
Before starting Frshly Foodbox, Satish worked in USA for 11 years in manufacturing. In 2003 he joined 3M Purification Inc. (formerly CUNO Incorporated) Meriden, Connecticut as an Engineering Manager with his key responsibility areas being Engineering Management, Manufacturing Production Support and Manufacturing Engineering. Prior to his stint abroad, Satish also worked with ELGI Equipments as a Research Engineer and with Sharp Tools as a Design Engineer in Coimbatore.
