Pacific Mall Partners with Tihar Jail to Promote Brand TJs

Inmates of Tihar Jail finally get their break. Pacific Mall has entered into an association with Tihar Jail to sell products manufactured by in-house prisoners,at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden from 16th till 19th August 2016. The exhibition themed âRedefining Life Behind Barsâ under their brand TJ's will have a wide range of products manufactured by the prison inmates ranging from rakhis to bakery and confectionary items, handicrafts, designer candles & lamps, recycled hand-made paper products, handlooms etc. will be on display at the âSalt Food Court @ Pacific Mallâ.

Commenting on the initiative Salim Roopani, Centre Director - Pacific Mall said; âTJâs is a great initiative and we are proud to support the cause and be associated with it. This initiative is a part of our efforts to give back to the society encouranging and promoting this initiative by Tihar aimed at creating a positive environment for the inmates channelising their energies to learn and create products that will be helpful to them later on in life.â

Pacific Mall regularly supports similar initiatives as a part of their CSR initiatives, frequently inviting NGOs and other voluntary organizations to put up stalls and exhibitions that will help them promote their cause and spread awareness.

TJ's is a brand developed with a non-commercial and non-profit objective.The exhibition is a huge step to bring visibility to the products and they will be within reach of the buyer and at the same time providing an opportunity of rehabilitation to the prison inmates of Tihar Jail by channelising their energy towards a positive direction.
