Marrily, the Matchmaking App synces from Facebook

PR Newswire | 21 Sep, 2015
Marrily, the Matchmaking App you Wish you had Before Your Parents Started Looking

MUMBAI: Available now, the matchmaking app, Marrily, is there to rearrange the arranged marriage scene. Mom's not so gentle reminders, awkward meetings you couldn't walk out of or hearing a no from someone you spoke to just once will soon be a thing of the past. Launched just three weeks ago for Android users, it already has the young and busy, from mostly top tier colleges, looking to take matters into their own smartphones.

On Marrily one will not have to worry about fake or glorified profiles, it uses Facebook for registration and a selfie for verification. In fact, key profile details on Marrily are synced from Facebook. Registration is a breeze and in less than 1 minute one can start meeting suitable matches.

Searching profiles can be quite painful so it completely does away with it. Instead, it suggests profiles after carefully considering qualities important in match-finding. One can like or reject profiles; interestingly, without notifying the other person. Only when the interest is mutual, it connects both for 30 days to know each other better. While chatting, if sparks fly and both are sure of taking it ahead, it notifies family members about the match.

"When I was looking to get married, I found the entire process sort of painful and often awkward and frustrating. I'm sure many are facing that," said Sourabh Varma, Founder of Marrily.

It doesn't matter where you are located; Marrily is available to all Android users and that too for free. This comes at a perfect time, as many young, educated and busy individuals are looking to find the one truly meant for them. Version for Apple phone is under development and will be launched soon.

Marrily has been developed by Younion Technologies, a start-up founded by alumni from IIT Kanpur.

About Younion Technologies:

Younion Technologies was founded in August 2015 by four IIT Kanpur alums, half of them still looking and half already wiser. Marrily, its mobile app for matchmaking, is committed to provide a truly progressive match finding experience. At Marrily we believe while we are becoming increasingly progressive why shouldn't our match-finding experience evolve. And that is the inspiration that fuels our imagination every single day at work.
