ChargeBee, an online subscription and recurring billing management solutions provider, has partnered with Worldpay, a global leader in payment processing, to offer a new integrated payments solution for subscription billing.
This announcement marks the beginning of a unique collaboration in online payments, by allowing ChargeBee customers to benefit from Worldpayâs eCommerce solutions â all via a single pre-built integration â combining access to pure cloud-based SaaS billing and global payment processing.
The partnership benefits businesses by providing:
- A robust online subscription billing platform for package subscriptions or recurring payments
- A secure and consistent experience for a consumers' preferred payment method or marketplace
- The ability to hasten their speed to market, whilst saving on development costs and resources.
There are already more than 20 businesses of all sizes operating in India, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States, using the bespoke integration module.
âOur partnership with Worldpay will allow companies to streamline their billing and payment services, providing enhanced efficiency and helping to drive results for their business. Together with Worldpay, we offer innovative solutions in two critical areas â subscription billing and recurring payment processing â for businesses of any size and industry,â notes Krish Subramanian, Co-founder and CEO of ChargeBee.
Kevin Dallas, Chief Product and Marketing Officer, Global eCommerce at Worldpay added, âRecurring payments and subscription models are becoming more popular, as consumers adapt their consumption habits to pay only for those items and services they wish to use. Our partnership with ChargeBee is a natural synergy, which delivers choice, value and peace of mind to companies using subscription billing, or those looking to adopt this model to help them grow globally.â
Freshdesk, a cloud based customer support software provider is the first enterprise customer to benefit from the new pre-built integration, which has enabled the company to reach a broader client base by offering multi-currency payments to its customers around the world.
Girish Mathrubootham, CEO of Freshdesk confirmed: âFlexibility is vital for Freshdesk. Using the customised integration between Worldpay and ChargeBee weâve been able to scale quickly by accepting payments in local currencies and settle back into our currency of choice. Working with Worldpay has also opened up opportunities in Asia and Latin America for us by enabling alternative payment methods where credit card penetration is low.â Mathrubootham adds, âWe have benefited from the collaborative and consultative approach both ChargeBee and Worldpay offer their clients. Since we went live, we have seen our credit card acceptance rates increase by 5%.â
