UBM India, FSAI Host India Fire n Safety Security Yatra in Delhi

NEW DELHI: UBM India today hosted the India Fire & Safety Security Yatra 2014 (IFSY) in New Delhi, an initiative by the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI), a non-profit organisation representing the fire protection, life safety, security, building automation, loss prevention and risk management domains. IFSY is aimed at promoting and advancing the use of fire safety and security systems that will foster a spirit of safe living among all citizens of India and inculcate a proactive mind-set towards safety and security.

IFSY 2014 showcased cutting edge technologies, new products and services from leading global and Indian manufacturers and product companies, enabling knowledge and expertise required to improve the physical security and fire safety through technology sessions, panel discussions and live exhibits.

The highlight of IFSY 2014 event was the speech by Mr. DK Shami, Dy. Fire Advisor, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He stressed on the fact that there needs to be a proper system and policies that needs to be formulated for the development of smart cities. The event brought together the entire fire security and safety enterprises based in Delhi. Over 100 major Indian and global industry players participated in the IFSY Delhi event, including reputed names such as Reliance, Honeywell, Tyco, Autocop, Hikvision, and Toshiba.

UBM India, also organises IFSEC India, India's key event that caters to the entire security and fire buying chain. With the IFSY 2014 initiative, UBM India extends its reach to provide the perfect platform to meet the growing need in the fire & safety security domain.
