Vertellus Specialties Inc. Opens Office in Mumbai

INDIANAPOLIS: Vertellus, a global specialty chemical provider, opened a second facility in India on February 28. The newly opened Mumbai office of Vertellus Specialty Materials (India) Pvt. Ltd. functions primarily as a business office and will eventually accommodate up to eight Vertellus staff members. In addition to the new facility located in India's thriving financial center, Vertellus also maintains manufacturing operations in Vapi.

According to Global Sales Director Mark Lewis, the Vertellus office in Mumbai signifies a strategic investment and a long-term commitment to serving market needs in India and the region. "The Mumbai office reflects our commitment to invest in the people, capital and infrastructure necessary to support business growth in India and the surrounding region," Lewis said.

According to Lewis, the initial Mumbai staff will be composed primarily of business team members. He also noted that global engineering and information technology specialists may also be added in the near future. "This facility signifies our commitment to cultivating steady growth in the region. It also positions us to continue attracting top talent while serving both existing and emerging customer needs," Lewis said.
