Mu Sigma CEO Dhiraj Rajaram Wins CNBC TV18's Young Turk of the Year Award

MUMBAI: Dhiraj Rajaram, Founder and CEO of Mu Sigma, a category defining company in the decision sciences industry and the big data space, bagged the Young Turk of the Year Award. The award was given away at the 9th edition of CNBC TV18 India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) ceremony, which took place on January 13, 2014 at the Trident Oberoi, Nariman Point Mumbai.

The IBLA honors and celebrates outstanding leadership in business and the economy. The awards seek to recognise leaders who have excelled in building profitable, sustainable and socially conscious businesses as well as individuals who have, through contemporary policy-making, contributed to driving growth.

Mu Sigma was chosen from a list of accomplished business leaders under stringent, objective and transparent criteria. The jury's choice of Mu Sigma was not just for its financial performance this year but also for its inspiring journey and the potential for scalability. 

The jury, along with research partners - The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (GSB), Development Dimensions International (DDI) and The CNBC-TV18 Research Team - assessed candidates through a unique judging process based on a combination of criteria, including financial performance, leadership, creativity, innovation and social responsibility.
