BANGALORE, India: TriVeda Capital announced today the launch of a $500 million real estate asset management platform in India. The platform's initial portfolio is comprised of five residential and mixed-use projects located in Bangalore. TriVeda plans to draw upon the firm's institutional private equity expertise to deliver value-added asset management services on behalf of both real estate owners and investors.

Over the next several months, TriVeda also intends to commence capital raising activities for a closed-end vehicle established for NRIs, PIOs and India-based real estate investors. "We have circled the initial investors for this investment vehicle, which shall make structured investments in the Indian real estate space. The vehicle is designed to provide attractive risk-adjusted returns to investors combined with strong downside protections," confirms Mr. Inamdar.
