NTPC Emerges Winner in DAC Advertising, Marketing Quiz 2013

NEW DELHI: NTPC emerged as the winner in a closely fought contest at the Delhi Advertising Club's advertising, marketing and media quiz. Innocean Worldwide were the 1st Runner Up and REC+ the 2nd runner up at the contest. B.Sridhar-Group Director Media Services, Innocean Worldwide conducted the quiz. He was welcomed by Mr. R.C.Tanwar - Convenor Program Committee and Mr. V.K.Chopra - Chief Patron, Delhi Advertising Club. The quiz contest was organized as a part of the professional activities for the members of the club with professionals from advertising agencies, advertisers, print media, outdoor media & electronic media actively participating.


The Teams that participated in the Quiz are, Innocean Worldwide (2 Teams), Indian Oil, NTPC, Havas Media/MPG (2 Teams), Mindshare World, Motivator World, Graphisads Ltd., Airads Ltd., Zenith Optimedia, Mediacom, Interpublicity and News 24.


Mr. HS Paul, President, Delhi Advertising Club, said, "I am very pleased with the response from the members who have participated with such enthusiasm in this contest. At, DAC, we aim to bring professionals from advertising, marketing and the media fraternity together and work on ideas to create a better connect and build a stronger network. Better communication between all the members will bring synergy and create new avenues for everyone."


Mr. Kailash Arora, Hony. Secretary, Delhi Advertising Club said, "there was good response from the Banner sponsors which helped the club to raise sufficient funds for organizing the event. The banner sponsors were Daily Excelsior of Jammu, NTPC, Lehar Advertising, Competition Success Review, IPSA Labs, Havas Media (MPG) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd."

 

In the end, Mr.Paul praised Mr. B.Sridhar Quiz Master and his team of three young members for conducting the Quiz  in the most professional manner. He also thanked  Mr. V.K.Chopra - Chief Patron , Mr. R.C.Tanwar- Past President, Mr. Vijay Chopra and Mr. Subhash Vatsain - Vice Presidents, Mr. Kailash Arora - Hony.Secretary, Mr. K.K.Malhotra - Hony.Treasurer, Mr. J.P.Singh - Jt.Secretary, Mr. Arun Kumar Soni, Mr. Naresh Sachdeva , Mr. S.K.Babbar, Mr. Surinder Rana, Members Executive Committee and all the members present on the occasion for their whole hearted support.
