EnglishEdge Ties up With Essar Foundation

NEW DELHI: EnglishEdge, the leading provider of technology based English language learning solutions in India, has tied up with Essar Foundation, the CSR wing of India's leading construction and manufacturing company, for providing training in the English language in Hazira district in Gujarat. This initiative has been taken to introduce children and youth towards different facets of spoken English.

Mr. Vivek Agarwal, CEO, EnglishEdge expressed, "We are delighted to be partnering with Essar to bring world class technology based English Language Learning to schools students in Haryana. This program will empower the students to pursue a much wider variety of options in their professional and personal lives."

Anurag Mishra, DGM-CSR, Essar Foundation said, "This web-based e-learning programme shall cater to 200 students every year in and around Hazira. Under this PPP model, we expect the project to achieve new heights and cover maximum students in these areas. We feel grateful to EnglishEdge for helping us realize our dream of imparting English training here through innovative use of software and technology."

"Once the program's pilot run is reviewed for its effectiveness, it will then be replicated in other districts to reach out to as many students as we can," he further added.

Expressing his elation with the project launch, Kaushik, a standard X student said, "I want to pick up easy and quick lessons in English so that I can speak fluently in the language with everyone. This is a great way to brush up on my language skills."
