Aliens Space Station, Alien's Group's pioneer project, is being developed around the concept of 'Intelligent Living' where the entire living space is designed around the needs of the residents. Space Station is one of the first Indian projects to incorporate technology extensively. The entire project has been built using a raft foundation and transverse slabs, two concepts that speed up development while adding to the strength of the building. Space Station also bears a unique S shaped design which uniformly allows sunlight, wind and ventilation across three sides, leaving each apartment fresh and airy. It has also integrated the green building concept extensively so that homes manage heating and cooling more efficiently. Home automation is one of the company's greatest features, and this is also a key differentiator for Space Station. Moreover, home automation allows homeowners to remotely manage their home and track maids, adjust lighting, call up the lift to avoid the wait and many more facilities.

About Space Station

Aliens Space Station is a mixed use development located in Hyderabad, India. The project comprises of 2,200 residential apartments, a 5,000sqm clubhouse and 35,000sqm commercial zone situated on a 7.5 hectare acre lakeside site. The residential component is a 30 storey 'S' shaped building sited over a pedestrian landscaped podium, below which there are 3 storeys of car parking.

The S shaped configuration of the residential buildings was designed to maximise the number of apartments with views over the lake and to take full advantage of the shape of the site. This design, combined with below ground parking means that the full ground level of the site can be a landscaped and pedestrianised leisure facility in its own right. A more traditional scheme would have created a large number of individual tower blocks which would have reduced the area available for the podium.

The podium area also includes leisure facilities such as a golf driving range, badminton courts , cricket nets, squash and tennis courts and a shooting gallery. There is podium and first floor access to the clubhouse that includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, basketball court, spa, fitness centre, supermarket and F&B outlets.

The use of a transfer slab at first floor further maximises the transparency and openness of the landscaped podium level and allows this to flow naturally under the buildings whilst minimising the number of columns within the car park levels, thus improving their efficiency and ease of use.

The facades have been broken up with apparently randomly placed double height sky gardens which give residents further places to meet and relax and also act as places of refuge in case of emergency. The internal common corridors also benefit from strategically placed pocket gardens at each of the thirteen lift cores.

The individual apartment and penthouse layouts have been designed around the 'Vastu' rules and beliefs and the entire scheme has been designed to meet the platinum standard IGBC codes including grey water recycling and rainwater harvesting etc. Space Station One is also the first building in the state of Andhra Pradesh to be 30 storeys high.
