Acision Appoints Fatima Raimondi as New Senior Vice President and General Manager, Latin America

READING, England: Acision, the global leader in mobile messaging, today announced that Fatima Raimondi has been appointed as its Senior Vice President and General Manager for Latin America (LATAM). Fatima will assume responsibility for managing all of Acision's LATAM operations, leading growth in the region through business development, team cultivation and developing customer and partner relationships.

Fatima brings a wealth of experience to Acision, having been in senior sales and management roles in the communications industry for over 20 years in Europe and Latin America. In her new role, Fatima will build upon Acision's market leading position and success in the region, playing an instrumental role in enhancing Acision's presence and relevance with local mobile operators and enterprises as they work to deploy profitable new messaging services. She will also take a leading position in steering the regional strategic direction, while boosting customer experience and driving demand for Acision's solutions and services across IP, Cloud and Enterprise Messaging.

Prior to Acision, Fatima held a number of senior management and leadership roles at Ericsson where she covered multiple markets, and was most recently President for Ericsson Brazil.   In addition to her executive experience, Fatima has previously been a board member at the Swedish Chamber in both Argentina and Brazil. Today she sits on the advisory board of Melitta do Brazil, and is a member of the Organisation and People Committee of Natura Board of Directors in Brazil.
