'No delay in shipment of wildlife-related handicraft items'

The officials from Archaeological survey of India (ASI), Wild Life Department (Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change) and Customs have assured that the shipment of wildlife-related handicraft items (like made of horn, bone, mother of pearl, leather handicrafts and traditional artware) to be cleared without delay, informed Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) in New Delhi.

GST Council reduces GST rates on 18 handicrafts items

The Council has reduced the GST rates from on 18 handicrafts items which include items like idols of clay, wood, stone, metals, table and kitchenware, paper machie articles, stone inlay work, statues, worked ivory, bone, shell horn items, cotton quilts, brooms and brushes and some natural fibre products.
