Reliance Communications has posted net profit of Rs177 crore for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2015-16, a company statement said in New Delhi on Monday.

“The net profit was at Rs177 crore, up 3.5 per cent from Rs171 crore in Q3 (third quarter),” the statement said.

In Q4 revenue was at Rs5,227 crore, up 12.4 per cent from Rs4,651 crore in Q3.

The total data customer base has grown 15.4 per cent year-on-year to 38.9 million, including 24.2 million 3G customers in Q4, it said.

The total data traffic at 104.7 billion MB is up 20.1 per cent year-on-year. “The traffic has increased due to increase in data subscribers and higher data usage per customer,” the statement added.
