In an endeavor to celebrate and promote the Indian handicraft, Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. is organizing an exhibition cum sale of Handicrafts titled "Craft Heritage" from 10 to 20 June, 2014 in New Delhi showroom.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon'ble Minister of State for Textiles (I/C), Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Govt. Of India  at CCIC showroom, Janpath, New Delhi.  Zohra Chatterji, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India was the Guest of Honour.

The "Craft Heritage" collection encompasses finest range of Handcrafted Furniture, Cabinets, Boxes & Pitaras, Traditional Paintings from Rajasthan, coordinated Homelinen, Blue Pottery from Jaipur & Stone Pottery from Khurja, Fine bronze artifacts and statues.

Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Limited (CCICL) retails Authentic Indian Handicrafts and Handlooms through its showrooms in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.

The products are being sourced from weavers, master weavers, artisans, craft-persons and master craftsmen and National Awardees, Shilp Gurus and clusters.

The emporium showcases the finest  crafts from all over India under one roof ranging from exquisite sculptures, paintings, artefacts, metal ware, woodcraft, pottery, stoneware & marble craft, branded Bankura silver, carpets, furniture, furnishings, home linen, sarees, ready to wear, accessories, jewellery, craft items, herbal products and much more.

Each product is unique reflecting the folklores, religious beliefs, cultural ethos and rich heritage of India, informed CCICL.
