The 23rd edition of National Garment Fair 2014, India's one of the largest trade fairs for apparel brands and retailers, will be held at Gujarat University Exhibition Hall in Ahmedabad from between June 26 to 28.

The three-day mega B2B (Business-to-Business) event will generate the advancement of the large scale garments industry all over world. This showcase will include all kind of garments and accessories. This show is expected to be a huge success that is meant to satisfy large number of visitors and industrial professionals.

Around 350 exhibitors majorly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are participating in the show, informed Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Association (GGMA), an alliance of Garment Manufacturers, who are together working toward making Gujarat of the most sought after destinations for Readymade Garment Industries in India.

The textile Industry has always played a pivotal role in the industrial and economic growth of our state of Gujarat. The Garment sector of this industry, which has witnessed an accelerated growth over last few years, is still having tremendous potential for growth in today's era, said GGMA.

Around 35000 visitors are expected to visit the gala event, it said.

Chief Minister of Gujarat, Anandi Ben Patel is expected to inaugurate the event accompanied by Saurabh Patel Finance Minister of Gujarat & Meenakshi Patel 'Mayor' & Kaushik Patel 'Chairman' 20th Programme.

A total of nearly 1000 plus brands will be represented for three days. Exhibitors will include manufacturers and exporters of all existence wear and invention categories like casual, formals, party wear, jeans, men's wear, woman's wear, kids wear and accessories.

Also manufacturer, distributor, trader, dealer, retailer from garment, franchisees, conventional garment shops, agents etc. are expected to visit the National Garment Fair 2014, it added.
