An indigenously manufactured haematology analyser has become the first Indian product in its category to got a certification for export to European markets, it was announced in Kolkata Thursday.

According to a statement released by Trivitron Healthcare, Cellenium 19, the indigenously manufactured haematology analyser (device used to analyze blood disorders or blood counts) has become first Indian designed and manufactured haematology analyser to have CE certificate, that enables it to become the first such analyser fit for export to the European Union countries.

For India-based users of Cellenium 19, this development means complete assurance of operator safety and harmonisation with internationally accepted clinical standards.

For large laboratories using Cellenium 19, it will also ensure smooth compliance to national and international accreditations like NABH, NABL and CAP.

Founder and managing director of Trivitron Healthcare G.S.K. Velu said: "We are glad to get the CE certificate for Cellenium 19 as it requires high quality manufacturing processes to be followed as per European standards."
