In an endeavour to celebrate and promote the Indian handloom, Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Limited (CCICL) has organized a 'Monsoon Dhamaka' as a extension of the exhibition 'Woven Wonders' from 28th to 30th June, in New Delhi.

Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Limited (CCICL) retails Authentic Indian Handlooms and Handicrafts through its showrooms in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Chennai.

"The products are being sourced from weavers, master weavers, artisans, craftpersons and master craftsmen and National Awardees, Shilp Gurus and clusters," said CCICL's officials in a press release on Thursday.

The emporium showcases the finest  crafts from all over India under one roof ranging from, sarees, ready to wear, furnishings, home linen accessories, exquisite sculptures, paintings, artefacts, metal ware, woodcraft, pottery, stoneware & marble craft, branded bankura silver, carpets, furniture, jewellery, craft items, herbal products and much more.

Each product is unique reflecting the traditional myths, folklores, religious beliefs, cultural ethos and rich heritage of India.

The Cottage Emporium is also offering 10 to 50 percent discounts on different items during the event. "This collection can easily add on freshness to your wadrobe and home decor in wide palettes of colours and designs," it said.

Since the exhibition showcases the Monsoon collection thus celebrating the rich textile heritage of India, the release added.
