BVG Flooring, a leading wooden flooring firm in the country, has entered into a techno-marketing collaboration with Barlinek of Poland, one of the largest wooden flooring manufacturers in the world.

“India is replete with poor quality import of laminated flooring. Consumers are yet not aware of the difference between pure wood and laminate flooring. Hopefully the Barlinek brand and Polish quality shall bring about a difference in consumer choice for wooden flooring in India,” said Managing Director of BVG Vishal Goyal, announcing the tie-up recently in New Delhi.

Terming the tie-up a strategic move, Goyal said that BVG was looking for an international partner in a bid to tap the promising Indian flooring market, which is expected to grow phenomenally. "Almost in anticipation of impending competition from global players, BVG has signed up a MOU with Barlinek," he added.

The move will also enhance BVG's technical expertise, according to the official. "With this alliance, BVG shall also bring to India cutting edge wooden flooring technology like the new  5GS floorboard joint where the floor can be laid by as much as 25% faster without any special tools ," he said.

Joining hands with Barlinek would help us to capture the vast untapped market of tier-two cities in India, said the top BVG official. "Our attempt to broaden the consumer base of wooden Flooring by spreading to Tier Two cities in India shall get a fillip through this tie-up with Barlinek," he said.
