"For the development of fisheries and people associated with the sector, the Tripura government has sent for approval a project of Rs 5,000 crore to the central government. As Tripura imports fish from other states as well s Bangladesh, the project will help earn crores of rupees from fisheries," he added.

"Besides, people of Tripura, Bangladeshi nationals will also benefit from development of health infrastructure in Tripura as the state is surrounded by the neighbouring country from almost all sides.
