The Abu Dhabi International Airport has been ranked the second best service provider in the Middle East by the Annual Airports Council International (ACI).

It has won the award for the second consecutive year. ACI's ASQ passenger satisfaction survey is a key benchmark for standards in customer service in the airports' industry.

The report published by ACI showed that the Abu Dhabi airport excelled in categories that demonstrate overall satisfaction of departing passengers.

Ahmad Al Haddabi, chief operating officer of Abu Dhabi Airports Company, said: "We are honoured to have received this outstanding recognition for the second year running. The ASQ Awards have a real importance to us since the passengers decide on the winners.
