UAE, UK sign air services deal

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has updated an air services agreement with Britain that allows full flexibility on flight routes, capacity of passengers, frequencies and types of aircraft.
The UAE was represented by Omar Bin Ghaleb, deputy director general of the General Civil Aviation Authority, while Britain was represented by Mark Bosly, head of aviation negotiations at the department for transport.
The agreement was signed at a meeting held in London.
Representatives from the Abu Dhabi department of transport, Dubai civil aviation authority, Sharjah department of civil aviation, Ras Al Khaimah department of civil aviation, Etihad Airways, Emirates airlines and RAK Airways attended the negotiations.
