exclusive e-mail interview with SME Times, Raj Bajoria, the Co-Founder and
Chief Operating Officer at Selfex said that with their services not only

1. Tell us about your brand?
At Selfex, we provide logistical support as well as training
to other courier companies, while also bringing them to the forefront of the
business of international courier delivery. We are India's 1st B2B tech based
international courier service provider. With us, not only can you generate

services. We’re India’s first B2B logistics platform and we ensure that our

2. How are you empowering B2B
players?
According to the present market scenario, smaller customers
does not have the organised way to reach out to the international courier
customer. With the limited resources the
international deliveries get hampered. We do not keep ownership of
any label, AWB or distribution rights, all of these rest with our partner
businesses. We don’t encourage agent commissions; the earnings are solely
beneficial for the business involved. They can use Selfex’s infrastructure for
pickups, packaging, delivery etc. No more paperwork, no hassles and no lengthy
processes. Neither do we require any capital. The only transaction involved
would be the service charge when they work with us. We provide access to one of
the largest network of financial services through Selfex, and arrange short
term funds for businesses with a large degree of convenience. The businesses
can buy sector stocks directly and save on the margins of third-party agents,
and can also book orders directly.

In our industry, the organised side’s presence is less but
the genre of unorganised is huge. Hence, data security is a big challenge for
us, more than providing any service.

6. What areas do you think
need the most improvement in the courier service sector as a whole?
There is a need to educate the small players and empower them
in terms of international shipments and operations. There is also a huge
disparity in prices among those who are not well-versed with the international
courier process and its various operations.
In order to bring an added layer of transparency in this
industry, we arrange for all these businesses to come together and work with
us, helping them understand everything clearly as well as maintaining
transparency and not being discriminated against in terms of prices.
7. What are your foreseeable
plans? How we are planning to expand?
We have already onboarded 500+ B2B courier partners as well
as clients from the pool of Corporate, Movers Packers, Institutions and
Companies dealt into Manufacturing, Trading and particularly in exports and
Imports.
8. How you are making the use
of tech?
Technology is used in almost everything we do, but in
particular, we use it to do the Tariff, digital KYC, geofencing, smart card,
eVAP and other documents like Declarations, Invoices which are equally
important for international couriers.
9. Why should clients opt for
Selfex in this industry? What advantages are your customer availing if they
choose your company?
