How many government schemes are currently in place to support our MSMEs? ? You may find this question a little difficult to answer! The same thing applies to the scores of skill development programmes offered by the Skill Development ministry. Every now and then we hear about launching new such initiatives, but most of them fail to reach the deserving beneficiaries. Awareness drives could be the key to getting rid of this challenge.

The MSME ministry recently announced that it would send teams of officials to 117 naxalite-hit 'Aspirational Districts' to spread awareness about its existing schemes. 'Aspirational Districts' are those districts which have been identified by the NITI Aayog under a programme that aims to transform these districts, based on three broad goals: convergence of Central & State Schemes, collaboration of Central, State level 'Prabhari' Officers & District Collectors, and competition among districts driven by a mass movement.

Again last week, the Skill Development ministry announced that it would send senior officers to the all 'Aspirational Districts' between October 2, 2018 and January 26, 2019. The objective is to understand the challenges faced by the district administrations in implementing skill programs. In a bid to take a stock taking of the available skill ecosystem, this team of officers will interact with Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras, training providers, ITIs, Polytechnics and JSS administrations.

Needless to say, these are welcome initiatives. Many of our MSMEs and start-ups are still unaware of the dozens of schemes and programmes being undertaken by the Central and State governments for their promotion. It is equally true that majority of such initiatives, despite having high potential to promote entrepreneurship, hardly succeed due to their implementation with poor understanding of the ground realities. These gaps need to be filled.

I invite your opinions.

Nation wide their where enough and more publicities are their since independence. Fortunately our Civil Service people's attitude are the same they are taken an OATH which british empire taught that never allow the country to come up and loot as much as you want and share some % to the politico-bureaucratic alliances to keep their mouth shut. Still these people find the new ways to loot and siphon out to other countries that almost all the political and bureaucratic people having one in a way having business in other countries. As long as Political Parties, Unions' and all institutions are -particularly any free and support from the Government and entertained government funds are strictly under the screening of CAG which all religious institutions also must be in the list. Secondly Third Party audit to all works and engineering audit added immediately after 7 months or 13 months of completion of the work - India will grow like anything which no one could assume. A single window system with a team of Banker-Niti Ayog - Industries Expert- Some heavy Industrial Experts as Consultancy Firms - to guide the new aspirants or entrepreneurs along with every district one R&D Centre in association with any GovernmentCollege added with Fab Lab incubation centre start up support with total guidance centre - without Civil Service people in it. Success will be guaranteed without any doubt - especially in the area of Agricultural & IT along with Techno Commerical Sectors Cheers Pranam

Many such schemes are there over net bank never care to honour those schemes. One of them is PMMY(Mudra loan).May be a political motive control which is not a healthy sign for MSME.Secondly there is no scope for experience advance engineers in this sector. But Europeans recognized these highly senior citizen technocrat invite for such venture enthusiastically with huge finance & order. In India banks discard this motivation to flourish in India.

Awareness Drive - Additional inputs
K.SESHADRI | Wed Sep 26 05:56:33 2018
Adding to the above points, I would like to mention below points: 1. These awareness programs may be linked with MSME's through their associations in all industrial estates. 2. Employees of those MSME to get involved so that they get exposed, thirst for entrepreneurship can be rooted thru them. 3. Awareness to public also to be done through media particularly private media. This is to create there is more opportunity for self employment/ doing their own business.

Awareness is must
Niraj Thakkar | Wed Sep 26 04:09:54 2018
Looking at the MH and GJ schemes, i really feel that the awareness is less to GJ MSMEs for the incentives they are eligible for. For the same, we educate people for the respective schemes applicable for their unit and which is more beneficial to them.
