Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) through Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) extends financial assistance to Khadi Institutions for construction of  Worksheds to Khadi artisans under “Workshed Scheme for Khadi Artisans”, said MSME minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday.

The Scheme introduced in 2008-09 envisages providing sufficient space and congenial environment to artisans for smooth and fatigue free working leading to enhanced production and increased earning.

This information was given by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha.
