Minister of State for Steel Faggan Singh Kulaste on Friday
said that Corporate communication needs to adopt latest technologies.
He said the global economy is going through a difficult
phase today and in such a situation, companies that do not adapt in this
changing environment will not be able to run.
The Minister called upon the Corporate Communications
Officers and Specialists to be more careful and diligent.
Kulaste said due to Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and
digital movement not only economy but trade also is taking itself up to new
heights.
Addressing the inaugural session of SCOPE Corporate
Communication Summit (2nd&3rd August,2019) in New
Delhi, the Minister said public sector enterprises are the flagbearers of
inclusive development.
In the present scenario the corporate world is more
accountable than its shareholders, stake holders and plays the role of a
coordinator. Therefore, its working has to be policy driven and transparent, he
added.
The Minister also released the Special issue of kaleidoscope
Magazine on Corporate Communication on the occasion.
SCOPE has organised a two-days Corporate Communication
Summit on the theme "Corporate Communication in the age of Disruptions -
Innovative Solutions".
The two days session will deliberate on Corporate
Communication in the age of disruption, Digital transformation of corporate
communication, impact of communication and leveraging CSR for brand building
and experience sharing by champions etc.
It is being attended by a large number of participants from
PSUs and other stakeholders.
