Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu Saturday said that India stands committed to support African Countries in their development efforts.

He was interacting with the Vice President of Zimbabwe, General (Rtd) Dr. Constantino Chiwenga, the Vice President of Uganda, Mr. Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi and the Vice President of Malawi, Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima, who called on him separately, in New Delhi.

The Vice President had one-to-one bilateral discussions with three African Vice Presidents and also called on the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier later in the day.
