Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday invited industry stakeholders to use the ministry's 'Twitter Seva' in case of queries on matters relating to Department of Commerce and Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion.

Anyone want to approach the Commerce and Industry Ministry should feel free to use the ‘Seva’, said Sitharaman, on the occasion of completion of one year of the dedicated service, 'Twitter Seva/ MOCI Seva'.

The service was launched on April 21, 2016 to address issues and grievances of start-ups, exporters and importers, and other stakeholders.

Government believes in active sharing of ideas and responding to citizen's queries, the minister said, adding that she was glad that people had approached in quite a big number and 99% had been served within the limitation that we had set for ourselves that is 2 working days.

She thanked the people for using the ‘Seva’ and looked forward to serving in even more and better way.

Under this Seva, anyone who is desirous of assistance from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry can use the hashtag #mociseva .

An institutionalized mechanism with a special Twitter cell has been created in the Ministry manned by a set of dedicated officers who will monitor and direct all the tweets to the concerned officers of the Department.

This Seva is open to all the services provided by the Department of Commerce and Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion.

This initiative is in line with the dictum 'Minimum Government, Maximum Governance' of the Prime Minister.

Please encourage all small & medium scale industries offering some incentives to install Solar Panels on their roofs to save the energy and cut the pollution. You may also ask the employer to encourage their employees offering some incentives to those while stick with two children and sending them public schools
