Auto Expo 2016 attracted as many as 71,000 visitors on its first public day on Friday, event officials said.

According to the event organisers, the superbikes section of the show emerged as the biggest crowd-puller and the audience was floored by a group of superbike riders who rode in complete superbike gear.

In addition, the vintage car pavilion enthralled automobile enthusiasts by bringing alive the old world vehicles while Bollywood motor section established the Indian movie industry’s connect with popular cars.

The 'Bollywood Motor' section showcased vehicles which attained cult status in the Indian film industry.

Besides, the mega automobile exhibition laid great emphasis on road safety through street plays and puppet shows to drive home the vital message to the visitors.
