The Carpet Export Promotion Council is organizing its 30th India Carpet Expo (11th in Varanasi) from 11-14 October, 2015 in Sampurnanand Sanskrit University Ground at Varanasi under the aegis of Govt. of India, informed a press release.

Over the years, the India Carpet Expo has established itself as a great sourcing platform for the carpet buyers from all over the globe.

The prime motive of the Council in holding the India Carpet Expo in the major Carpet producing belt Varanasi is to provide 'unique pick and choose' business opportunity to all overseas carpet buyers in the Expo. It is the endeavor of the Council to provide exclusive business environment to the both carpet importers as well as manufacturer-exporters.

The Council has fixed the Participation Charges @ Rs. 4,050/- per sq. meter + Service Tax.

This time Carpet Export Promotion Council will pay USD 750 to buyers from USA, Canada, LAC and South Africa and USD 500 to buyers from all other countries towards air travel expenses and also providing 2 nights complimentary stay in hotel at Varanasi for attending India Carpet Expo.

The Council expects presence of more than 400 overseas buyers in this expo.

Chairman, CEPC, Kuldeep R. Wattal, is confident that the Expo will generate good business and requests the media to extend their full support for promotion of this event which shall encourage the participants for participating and generating good business.

The Committee of Administration and the Office of CEPC is mobilizing all resources to invite maximum number of overseas buyers by extending invitations etc.
