Secretary, Ministry of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Madhav Lal during the 7th National Cluster Summit asked Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) to submit a concrete and clear proposal on how to scale-up the Cluster movement and the support required for the same from the Ministry.

C Narasimhan, Chief Jury and Chief Mentor CII Cluster Programme beckoned the delegates to be the messengers of quality and spread the messages learnt during the summit across the industry they come from.

He also said that Cluster programmes are the cheapest and fastest way of scaling up. And also that scaling up exports won't be possible with making the Zero Defect, Zero Effect go viral across the country.

He stressed that 'Zero' was invented in India and its magical power will now once again transform and bring India into the limelight in the global arena.

Awards for excellence in areas Manufacturing Excellence, Cost Competitiveness, Energy Efficiency, Total Employee Involvement, Productivity, Quality, Safety and Environment were given way to enterprises both in Large and MSME sector during the concluding ceremony of the 7th National Cluster Summit late last evening.

The event was organized with support from the Ministry of MSME, Government of India and other affiliated bodies.
