Union Minister for Micro Small &  Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Kalraj Mishra Friday asked the MSME/ Industry Ministers of all states, presented at the National Conference of State's Ministers in New Delhi, to come forward and move further on the growth path of MSME sector.

"The MSME Ministry has come out with key issues for the development of the MSMEs across the nation and for that I urge you all (state governments) to give your suggestions and feedback for the economic and social of the sector," said
Mishra while addressing the state Ministers and Secretaries (industries/ MSME) in the national capital on Friday.

Mishra asked the representatives of all states to give their suggestions for tweaking the definition of MSMEs, ask them to adopt schemes like MSME procurement policy and urged to help in modifying the MSME Development act 2006.

The minister also highlighted some of the important initiatives of the ministry like, Credit Guarantee Fund Scheme, CLCSS, Cluster Development Scheme, National Manufacturing Competitiveness programme etc. and also outlined the 100 days initiates of the Ministry. 

Speaking at the meeting, Secretory MSME, Madhav Lal said that the states' role is far more significant in the implementation of various schemes and programme of MSME.  He emphasized on the noble motto of this government i.e. skill for every hand and employment for every hand.

The conference discussed the State specific issues in the implementation of key schemes and programmes of the Ministry of MSME.
