Automobile manufacturer Honda Cars India Wednesday said it has witnessed strong sales and will be posting the third consecutive year of growth.

"The demand for our models is quite strong and we have been bucking the industry de-growth by posting good sales. This fiscal year is going to be our third consecutive year of positive growth," said Jnaneswar Sen, senior vice president, marketing and sales, Honda Cars India.

According to Sen, the company will increase its presence in the country by expanding its dealership network, production capacity and product portfolio in the coming time.

"As we expand our business, it is important for us to move even closer to our customers to be able to provide them with best customer services at nationwide level," Sen said.

The company is currently riding high on the success of its premium sedan City, entry-segment sedan Amaze and the newly-launched mid-size MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) Mobilio.

The company has registered an overall growth of 43 percent during the period April-October 2014.

The company aims at expanding its dealership network in the country by focusing on existing and newer Tier III markets.

It has targeted to add 35 percent more dealers during 2014-15 and take the total number of its dealerships to 230 across 150 cities by March 2015.
