The Third Smart Cities India 2017 Expo began in New Delhi on Wednesday. Taiwan Excellence is showcasing 86 products of 40 brands with a focus on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products.

Taiwan Excellence -- which represents the innovative and technological image of Taiwan's most competitive industries -- is participating in the expo at the Pragati Maidan for the second year in a row.

It has partnered with world-class brands to offer smart ICT, smart healthcare products, Internet of Things solutions and smart-life devices, a statement from Taiwan External Trade Development Council said.

It said several Taiwanese-based companies were already collaborating with governments across the world to provide smart solutions.

"We look forward to providing our expertise for India's Smart Cities Mission because we believe that India has a huge regard for innovation and cutting-edge technology products," said Michael Lin, Director of Taipei World Trade Centre Liaison.
