 Delhi Metro services will be partially curtailed Jan 26 as part of security arrangements for Republic Day, an official statement said Friday.

Additionally, all Metro parking lots will remain closed from 6 a.m. Jan 25 until 2 p.m. Jan 26.

According to a Delhi Metro statement, while the entry and exit at the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro stations will remain closed from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m, the entry and exit at Patel Chowk and Race Course stations will be closed from 8.45 a.m. to 12 p.m.

"Central Secretariat station will only be used for interchange of passengers between Line 2 (HUDA City Centre - Jahangirpuri) and Line 6 (Mandi House - Badarpur)," the statement said.

The Mandi House and Pragati Maidan Metro stations will also be closed for public for one hour between 10.45 a.m. and 11.45 a.m.

"From 10.45 a.m. up to 11.45 a.m., trains will run in three short loops on the corridors between Noida City Centre to Indraprastha, Vaishali to Yamuna Bank and Dwarka Sector 21 to Barakhamba Road stations on Line 3 (Dwarka Sector 21 - Noida City Centre) and Line 4 (Vaishali to Yamuna Bank)," the statement said.
