Net capital outflow from Russia amounted to some USD 8 billion in April, authorities said.
Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepach Monday said they expect the trend to continue in May.
In the first quarter of 2012, the net capital outflow from Russia amounted to USD 35 billion, Klepach added.
"This is more than we had expected," Xinhua quoted the minister as saying.
