An international fishery and livestock technology trade fair will be held in Myanmar, the government said Friday.

The fair, to be held Dec 7-8, will feature some of the latest technologies of the sector, Xinhua reported.

Myanmar's marine exports reached $125 million in April-June period this year, up $12.59 million or 11 percent year-on-year.

The figure for 2011-12 fiscal year stood at $522 million.

There are over 70 fish cold storage facilities in Yangon, of which 23 are in operation.
